Cesily 2-Bedroom Apartment in Athens

was a very disappointing experience. I would definitely not choose this apartment again, nor would I Positive: The location of the appartment and it was clean. Negative: Before our arrival, we were asked to pay a €250 deposit. This was the first time we had ever been asked to pay a deposit for an accommodation booked through Booking.com. Nevertheless, we paid it. We received the access code only two hours before check-in, and we were able to enter the apartment after 4 p.m. As soon as we entered, we noticed a glass bathroom door facing the living room. The apartment was clean, but the rooms were much smaller than they appeared in the pictures. In the master bedroom, there wasn't even enough space to open my hand luggage. On the first day, the only water available was extremely hot. It was so hot that we could barely stand under the shower without burning ourselves. After that, we had only cold water, which was particularly unpleasant during the winter. The most disappointing part of the experience was the way the local host team handled our complaints. Although they responded to our messages, instead of apologising and trying to resolve the situation, they acted as if the problems were our fault. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. I would definitely not choose this apartment again, nor would I recommend it to others.
