Do not stay here, it’s that simple. Positive: To be fair it was well equipped in the kitchen which was good and the balcony was a decent size with suitable furniture. Negative: Avoid this place at all costs. Cleanliness was absolutely diabolical – the entire property reeked of urine, there was something resembling faeces on the rug, and the sofa stank of sweat, with waxy brown dirt embedded deep into the fabric. It was clear it had never been properly cleaned. I had to buy my own cleaning products and spend hours washing everything, including the sofa covers and cushion covers, just to make it remotely usable. The bathroom was just as revolting: overwhelming stench of urine, mould inside the shower, brown grout, and filth around every rim. The smell spread through the entire property. I was so horrified I checked out early. I’ve travelled the world for work and have never encountered anything so unhygienic and vile. Compensation was an insulting €34, barely covering the cleaning supplies, let alone the time and stress. Customer service was equally appalling. I will be escalating this with Booking.com and have photo evidence of everything. €34 as “service recovery” is laughable and disgraceful. Do not stay here under any circumstances.
