Luma - Inspiring Studio in Athens

The only thing I can recommend about this place is that the room is nice but everything else was not!!! Positive: We liked that it was modern Negative: BEWARE. The payment was taken right away and then there were non stop messages after I booked asking for all different paperwork they wanted filled in in regards to any damages that could happen and I had a choice to pay another €9 for insurance which I took because I realised these people were going to charge me for any little thing if something did happen. Also they took a holding fee of €150 in case of damages. It was in an industrial area and you could hear the traffic, even with the windows closed it was too noisy and hard to sleep through!!! Smelt of cigarettes especially in the hallways and every time we put the bathroom fan on. The drain in the bathroom would fill up every time you showered and the glass partition wasn’t wide enough and the water would go all over the floor. We could hear the next door neighbours talking till 2am. I also asked for an early check in before hand and they said no because it wouldn’t be ready until 4pm when most places let you in much earlier! The check in instructions weren’t given to me until 2 hours before arrival. The day before we left someone called me to see if we would be out before the check out time of 11am because they needed workmen to go in and do repairs. We travelled all through Greece for 2 months and never had any issues with booking paying and arriving at our stays but this place just didn’t stop with all the messages and calls. When you’re on holiday’s you just want everything to be easy and this definitely wasn’t so I wouldn’t recommend it.
