The Penthouse: 3BR Seaview-Private Pool in Larnaca

Negative: My stay at The Penthouse 3BR with Seaview from 18–21 June 2026 was extremely disappointing and fell significantly below the standards presented in the listing. Upon arrival, I found that the overall condition of the property did not match the expectations created by the photographs on Booking.com. In particular, the pool area, sunbeds, and several advertised facilities appeared noticeably different from what was shown in the listing. One of my main concerns was the cleanliness of the swimming pool, which did not appear to have been properly maintained before our arrival. I reported this issue immediately and sent a video on the first evening documenting the condition of the pool area and other concerns. I was also disappointed by the general condition and cleanliness of certain areas of the property, as well as the presence of multiple insects inside the Penthouse itself. While insects may occasionally be expected in outdoor areas, guests should not reasonably encounter them inside the accommodation. Although the host responded to my messages and acknowledged receipt of my video, the issues I reported had already affected the quality of our stay. In my view, the responses provided did not adequately resolve the concerns or compensate for the discrepancy between the advertised property and the actual experience. What disappointed me most was the gap between the marketing of the property and its actual condition upon arrival. Accurate photographs and descriptions are essential so that guests can make informed booking decisions. This review reflects my genuine experience as a paying guest. Based on my stay, I would not choose this property again and would encourage future travellers to carefully review recent guest feedback before making a reservation.

Ogólnie bardzo miły pobyt, do powtórzenia podczas cieplejszej pogody. Positive: Położenie obiektu, udogodnienia, wyposażenie obiektu. Pomoc local host. Negative: W sezonie chłodnym dobrze byłoby aby była podgrzewana woda w basenie. Nie była dostępna informacja o włączeniu bojlera z ciepłą wodą.

Spektakulär mit kleinen Abstrichen.... Positive: Das Appartment ist ein Hammer, enorm gross, 3 Schlafräume, Riesenküche, eine überdachte Terrasse und eben eine Dachterrasse mit Pool und mehr, sehr beeindruckend! Im Haus an der Strasse gibt es ein sehr nettes Cafe (Frühstück...). Negative: Die Lage... ist ca 2km ausserhalb vom Zentrum, direkt an einer vierspurigen Strasse, also es kann schon mal laut sein.... und er Blick ist schon originell, Seaview ja, aber halt auf den Hafen, aber das ist schon ok. Strandzugang gibt es dort keinen! Und dann die Probleme mit der Elektrik.... an 2 Tagen hatten wir einen Kurzschluss, das Team ist sehr bemüht zu helfen, am Ende weiss man wo im Haus welche Schalter zu bedienen sind, damit wieder alles rund läuft ;-)
