Sunstone - Cozy Studio in Larnaca W/Terrace

Positive: Positive with this place is they’ve used truly a great interior designer and great photographer to capture the best of it. I was happy for the balcony, evening sun, and the light curtains. I also appreciate that they’ve added a bit of washing powder for the washing machine. It was well cleaned. Great location and quiet (besides echo’s from the hall way). Convenient with all info through a “boarding pass”-link. Negative: Uncomfortable bed, hard couch, unpractical food bowls, filthy and extremely odd smell in the building itself and staircase. I’ve stayed with this company 2 years ago and it’s ran very unorganised so I had told myself to not use them again, but they do own a lot of nice-looking apartments in Larnaca and if you’re late out booking something you’ll just like me end up with them again. They have so much potential to be a great hosting provider but their customer service and communication is sooo poorly and unorganised ran that it truly destroys the whole experience. Idk if they’re using different teams for different sectors or areas because some reviews do give good feedback on their support, but my experience really isn’t great any of the 3 times I’ve stayed with that company. They use a Cypriot number but it feels like it’s outsourced in another country, not well trained and just lack of actual care. Only time they’re quick at texting, or replying, is when they’re pushing on collecting the security deposit. During a 1.5h time period they sent in total 4 of the same automated emails about their needed deposit collection... They’ve lowered the deposit to what it used to be, but in my case it was different amount written in the listing to what their automatic message said and then again different on what was collected. I understand the need of collecting the deposit but the way it’s done just feels soooo scammy and unprofessional (and from comments they get on their listings I’m not the only one feeling this way). Even after I had paid they kept sending these automated deposit-collecting messages. They never sent me any check in instructions until I asked for it the same day I was checking in. Same time I asked for availability for early check in, it took them 3h (after I asked again) to give an answer that it wasn’t possible. I showed up to check in (which is very late - 16:00) and there was no key in the lockbox and the cleaning wasn’t done.

Positive: The apartment was nice and clean, with nice balcony, providing a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The location is nice, very close to the city center with nice options for cafe and restaurant, Also is situated on a quiet road, so it was not any issue with noise. I highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking to enjoy the city while having a peaceful retreat to return to. Negative: Check in was bit annoying, location in map was not totally correct. The communication with host company was not the quickest one.
