Halo - Luxury Studio in Athens

We booked this property specifically because it advertised an iron and ironing board, as we were attending a wedding. What they provided was a mini sleeve board, which is completely unusable for pressing suits or dresses. After several messages, they eventually sent a full ironing board but tried to charge us a high taxi fee for delivery. The room could also be cleaner (the soap dispenser had a mix of different brands, and toilet bin didn't have a liner). Check-in time is super late at 4pm, yet check-out time is early at 11am.

Nicely located but noisy Positive: The apartment is well-located, very clean, and nicely equipped with everything needed for a short stay. Negative: Unfortunately, our stay was significantly affected by loud renovation works taking place in the apartment above. Every morning between 8:00 and 8:30, heavy hammering and banging would start, making it impossible to sleep or rest. This noise completely disrupted the otherwise peaceful atmosphere we had hoped for. There’s also no real patio furniture – the table shown on the photos is actually the dining table from inside. Lastly, communication was poor – we asked for a late check-out a day in advance and never received a reply.
